Great Sheep boot!

This was my First set of Crispi boots. I have used Kenetrek for years and don't have much bad if anything bad to say about them but was looking for something new to try. I spend over 200 days a year in the field and having a good pair of boots is essential. Spending that much time requires a tough boot and thats what I found with the Crispi. At First glance I was a little concerned because they didn't have as much tread depth as the kenetreks but it proved to be a non issue as the sole held up a little longer than my kenes generally do. These boots have seen multiple dall sheep a hand full of moose a few caribou a pile of bears and loads of deer, elk, and antelope kills. Absolutely the most water proof boot I've ever owned! it took me a little while to get used to them as my feet were used to kenetrek boots. They didn't blister or rub anywhere but they set me up a little differently and actually I had a little muscle soreness in my shins like shin splints almost haha but once I got through the transition period I could switch back and forth with no issues. A pair of boots generally lasts me about a year of heavy use then off and on use for the second year then they start to get real shabby and not anywhere near water proof anymore. The Crispi surpassed that. Ive used these boots with absolutely no leaks or cracks in the leather for two entire seasons in three states! one of the best boots on the market hands down. I will be buying crispi again. These boots are not too stiff for everyday use as some people might expect with a "sheep" or "mountain hunting" boot, but they absolutely are a good choice for sheep and mountain hunting of any sort. I also liked that they are 200 gram insulation vs 0 or 400.
