To be seen or not to be seen

I used this cover on in two different situations. The first was not during my hunt but when I was out scouting a location during other peoples hunts and I wanted to make sure they saw that I was out there too.
The other time I used it was during my hunt. My pack is not close to being camouflaged so having the ability to throw the cover over the pack was a definite advantage for myself. On one windy morning I was afraid that the pack cover would be a sail on my pack so I went out with it stowed in a pocket, big mistake. The adjustment holes on the external frame acted like whistles in the wind, I quickly put the cover back on.
I never used the bungees that are attached to the cover. I found that the elastic around the edge was more than enough to keep it secured.
