I have used these boots for several months now in steep rocky terrain in Pennsylvania. These boots were comfortable out of the box and after a 1-2 mile walk on a logging road on rolling terrain, I hit the the woods. I never developed any blisters or foot pain, these boots fit my feet well. I would consider these to have been fully broken in within 10-15 miles of use.
So far they have performed admirably, completely water proof and stable. They breathe well, but I have also worn them several mornings below freezing with medium weight wool socks without my feet getting too uncomfortable.
There is one tiny spot of rand separation starting, I am going to monitor that and if it develops anymore I may reach out to Zamberlan CS, otherwise it appears that this will be a very durable boot.
