After years of Danner Acadia and other similar boots, decided on pulling the trigger on the Zamberlan. Considered the Crispi too after a guided hunt in Colorado where most of the guides were using either. Went with the GTX from Zamberlan after test fitting a pair during the hunt.
Out of the box they were obviously stiffer than a Danner, but were comfortable, and fit me true to size. I wear between a 9.5 and 10, depending on make, but went with the 10 so I could wear thicker socks if needed for colder weather (these are uninsulated). So far, about 50 miles into them, I'm super pleased, especially with the fact that I can resole them way down the road.
