A better way to hunt Whitetails

The Menace Saddle from Tethrd is a fantastic product and is very well suited to my style of hunting. After a few years of messing with climbing treestands, I decided to invest in a saddle setup after seeing how much some industry personalities liked theirs. Bought some Lone Wolf sticks due to availability, everything else was Tethrd. The saddle specifically is very comfortable to sit in for long periods, particularly if using knee pads (Arc'teryx pads are my favorites). Hiking out to my spots is far less sweaty and cumbersome than with any climber, and getting into the tree is much quieter.

I shot a squirrel with my bow while hunting in the saddle at about 15 yards on one of my first sits in it, and shot a spike buck with my muzzleloader on November 5th while hanging in a spot I had never even scouted before. I just hiked in, got in a tree before first light, and was hanging for no more than an hour before I heard him coming in.

Favorite things:
Mobility. I can easily move to watch or shoot 360 degrees with either my bow or a gun, and as a chronic fidgeter I can make small movements to get comfortable with little effort and no noise at all.
Tree Choice. I don't need a tall, limbless, straight tree like I did with my climber. I can get up into a tree with numerous branches, with a whole bunch of cover, with minimal effort.
Weight. The whole setup weighs a fraction of what my climbers did, even my lightweight ones.

Least favorite things:
I still have yet to find a good napping position. Perhaps the back strap that Tethrd sells will fix this problem, or I'll make one myself.
The MOLLE-inspired gear attachment system is a great idea, but the dimensions differ from true MOLLE. I've got a ton of pouches I could have used to evenly distribute ropes, straps, and the like, but most of them use the older nylon strap and metal snap-style of attachment. This works fine with true to spec MOLLE loops, however they don't fit in the slightly undersized loops on the saddle. Malice clipping pouches seems to work great, however.

Overall, 9/10, loving this hunting style and product, some small improvements to make the gear attachment more versatile would be appreciated.
