For me it's an ideal finger glove for lower activity hunting (ground blind, layout, etc.) in temps from 12-32 degrees. The insulation is very efficient while surprisingly light in bulk making it easy to handle my gun and bow. The gauntlet is also nice in that it helps keep a draft or snow from getting to your hands, while also far from too bulky. The leather palm is very subtle but doesn't work on touch screens. They've been waterproof for me while hunting in snow, but the real test will come the first time I get a bit too deep trying to retrieve a floating green head. My only complaint might be that the fabric is a bit noisy, but definitely acceptable and quieter than other poly gloves I own.
