Kenetrek Mtn Extreme

Best pair of boots by far that I have found. Have used these for everything from sheep hunting in rugged rocky country all the way down to desert hunting areas in southern New Mexico. I usually get one full year out of them but I'm in the field year-round. No other boot has lasted me 6 months without the rubber rand peeling off. You do have to condition the leather with Kenetrek brand Waterproofing Boot Wax but other than that the boots are tough enough to take care of themselves! They also have the best ankle support I've ever seen. I would however recommend trying a pair on prior to purchase because they are super rigid. I love that about them but some guys prefer less stiff. The factory insoles are about like a Superfeet black model and I am even able to run those and not pay an additional 50$ right off the bat to upgrade like on other boots. Fit is true to size. The Kenetrek company is also a USA company based in Montana! Great folks.
