Let me start by saying i'm a believer in the Crispi's. They're a great looking boot, comfortable and last. Probably a big reason I was having a hard time keeping the Racks Calendar girls away from me at SCI this year.
I've had a pair of the "Guide's" for 5 years, and it wasn't until my Ibex hunt in November 2021 that they finally looked like they were ready to retire. 70 miles in the Florida Mountains of NM is hard on a man and even harder on a boot. I work (forestry & dirtwork) in my guides or Nevadas every day and love them. The Summit seemed like it would be a little less bulky, and they are. They're just not quite as comfortable, fit as tightly and don't look quite as good as my others. So far they've been great, I just don't like them as much as my other Crispis. If you haven't owned any other Crispis, the Summit will still be a dynamite boot!
