The good:
The Ledlenser is has several brightness options when using as well as multiple colors modes available. I was impressed right away with the brightness settings as the light is quite powerful.
The most impressive feature I've seen on any head lamp is Ledlensers depth adjustment dial on the front of the light. It gives you a great option to have a wide field of view, or in a quick turn to make it narrow to shine out further.
The wide field of view is perfect for working in front of you, setting decoys, cleaning wild game, or even changing a tire on the side of the road at night.
In the picture shown in the review we used the Ledlenser for wide lighting in order to take a good harvest pic at night!
The narrow field of view really reaches out, I could easily make out objects at 100 yards with no issues, which is quite impressive for as compact as the light is.
Overall the Ledlenser is lightweight, powerful, and once you get past the initial battery installation and charging, it is more functional than any head light I've ever purchased in the past. The quality of the light is well worth the money and the ability to quickly change from wide to narrow field of view really makes Ledlenser stand out from the competition
The Bad:
The charging case-
The ease of use is excellent. Opened, placed light on charger and immediately started charging. The functionality and simplicity is what I look for when needing good hunting gear, as well as something that is well thought out. The clip to carry on a belt loop while still charging is a great design
