Hey all, wanted to do a quick review of the 2.0 pants in ...

Hey all, wanted to do a quick review of the 2.0 pants in the XK7 pattern. First, let me address the back story of why I went with King's. In the past I've used all kinds of clothing brands, at various price points never anything super expensive to promote a brand. My big frustration with other brands seemed to be design, pattern, fit, and $$ . All ive ever was wanted was to pay a fair price and get my money's worth from products. I checked these out after knowing about them and talking to a friend who endorsed them and highly recommended any product from them. Not necessarily a fan of Sitka etc. More so due to the $$.
I chose King's due to the price point and the XK7 pattern, this was also after research that more expensive brands charge more for similarly designed products made of similar materials while still manufacturing them overseas. While I understand you get what you pay for, I'm not sold on paying for a big brand name just because, especially if that's prohibiting you from putting rounds down range, scouting, hunting or fishing, I am not about it.

To the pattern itself, i love the fact that it isn't a standard print pattern, it's got a lot of natural earth tones and undertones that I truly believe can perform well at breaking up your outline in many environments and climates.

To the pants themselves, they fit true to size and aren't super baggy and are still comfortable. They do have a more athletic cut. If you arent used to that you better get used to it, all clothing brands are starting to do that but that isn't indicative of how it will fit or hold up. It's transfered over from the hiking community and their clothing. A lot of these products are hiking clothes with a camo pattern, but that isnt a bad thing! That just means you generally get water resistance, quick drying capability, etc. The material has stretch and give to increase range of motion. The material does seem kinda thin but it seems not to be as porous which should help with abrasion resistance while still being breathable and giving it water resistance. I will say these are more so only rated for early archery season, spring turkey season, or active hunting in milder weather. I'd rate them for a temperature range of 100°F-40°F. You could probably get away in a bit colder weather if you layered underneath but isn't going to get you much past that. I wish the pockets had zippers to more secure the pockets but with the way the pockets are designed short of you taking a fall I don't think you'd lose the contents of your pockets. All this goes dually for the shirt, but it's simple and effective. It's only other key features are its tagless design, elastic cuffs, and a single chest pocket.

Otherwise my hat is off to King's, I can't wait till I can set aside the extra funds to get some duplicate items, midweight gear, and a heavyweight item or 2.
