As a previous owner of gas and charcoal grills, I've been skeptical, yet interested in pellet smoker/grills. After much comparison, decided on the Camp Chef. I have been extremely happy with my choice! The grill is very easy to use and the app on my phone is even easier. The smoker leaves a beautiful ring on the meat and cooks perfectly. Using the open flame grill option works well for faster grilling. I love having the temperature probes so there is no guessing or opening the lid. So far wild boar, Bison, Salmon, prime rib, burgers, and more have come out perfectly! Smoking venison sausage and jerky are next on the list.
