When I first started using Cuddeback G game cameras I bought enough to run a full compliment of 16 cameras. Well 15 remote camera & one home camera. Set them all out where I wanted them then set back and learned what did what after reading the directions before putting them out. To me a novice to the Cuddeback brand not all things were clear. Like how long 4 D batteries would last etc. I knew what they said about longevity over AA but that does not tell me how long they were going to last over all. Well they lasted about a month. So that became a real PITA real fast that first year. So for the second year we bought THE Cuddeback Power Bank which could hold 6 additional batteries to make a total of 10 D batteries. So based on previous experience the year before 4 batteries = 1 moth of service 6 more batteries should make for an addition month & a half or other wise we were adding approximately 45 days to make a total of 75 days. Or so we thought. Pretty nice increase we surmised. Well 75 Days came & went and the home camera was still receiving photos from them all in fact all of the cameras continued sending remote photos into July of this year. So we put them all out in 2021 in early through mid August and they all ended up quitting 11 months latter in early to mid July. Not a bad investment if you ask me. Well Wayne what kind of batteries were you using,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Oh the good kind I think,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I don't know,,,,,,,,,My wife bought them when they were on sale..................... So that is what we put in them this year. Hopefully getting similar results. Oh by the way I live in the very northern part of NH and winter temps are not uncommon to hit -35 F to -45 F. Pretty good performance for the batteries and the Cuddeback. If you ask me.
