Standout rod

I bought this Taylor rod to use as a backup rod. As I hadn't fished it before, I decided to use it on a recent trip to Colorado. The day was hot, windy, and perfect for hopper dropper fishing. I was amazed at how well the rod performed. Soft tip to allow delicate presentations, but enough backbone to punch line when the wind was blowing. A few of the other guides tried it as well and were equally impressed. This will now be my primary rod, and the other, more expensive rods will become the backup rod!
