After reviewing this on line, despite the higher price tag than other box blinds, I was convinced this would be what I wanted for me and my clients to hunt out of in comfort. Even though the reviews had me expecting something special I was still super impressed with it once I was able to climb inside and experience the features myself. EVERYTHING the reviews say is true. Top end construction all around - floor - walls - windows - roof - the best! Building the tower section took about 2 hours. The instructions were easy to follow and ALL the hardware was there!!!! We loaded the blind and tower on a flat bed truck (the blind was fully complete with no additional assembly needed) and headed for the farm. With several options offered for set up we decided to pass on the stand it up with manpower option and rented a forklift to place the stand on the platform. We carefully followed the stake down instructions for the tower prior to placing the stand on it and there was no issue with stability. Once set in place. all we had to do was move the blind around slightly to line up bolt holes underneath and tighten up the four hold down bolts (if you do this, note that the big black fender washers go on the underside - LOL)!! There was a NW wind blowing about 15 - 20 MPH and once everything was bolted tight the stand did not sway at all. Three big guys climbed up in there and had plenty of room to move around freely - this is a ROOMY son of a gun!! I have ordered the Muddy rolling swivel chairs to place in there to provide the ultimate in comfort. A trail cam on the tower has already revealed that the deer are not at all alarmed by this new "thing" in their area. A couple of days ago a small herd fed right up to the base and hung out for a long while. Our first hunt (archery) is planned for this weekend (Oct 1). The remnants of Hurricane Ian are due to hit VA and we are not worried - we will be dry and comfy!! The long vertical windows on the corners are well suited for bow shots at just about any angle and the carpeted floor will allow quiet movement to get into the best shooting position. The windows open in and are SILENT on the hinges so we can contain any sounds and scent until the time comes to let that arrow fly! If you want to ultimate in a tower box blind I think Muddy is the right choice for sure!! 10 out of 10!!
The blind shows up on a pallet.
The tower option was 5' plus 5' extension came in pieces in various boxes with hardware and instructions. Some items were inside the blind!!
Its big!! Need a truck or trailer to haul it!
Once the tower was firmly staked down a large jobsite forklift made setting the blind in place a breeze!!
Roomy is an understatement. Three hunters will be very comfortable and still have room for the camera man!!
