This became my go-to pack for 10 days of archery elk hunting in MT. It was perfect for all-day hunts over rough terrain carrying about 25-35 lbs. The frame system does a great job of handling the weight and keeping it stable. Plenty of room for essentials inside and stuff (quiver, hiking poles, pad) strapped on outside. I slipped water bladder between pack bag and back panel to free up room inside which worked great. Good organization. Negatives: the zip-away bow/gun holder on back is useless for a compound bow -- too small. Probably ok for a longbow/recurve or gun. You can still strap your bow on the back but it won't be supported by this little pocket thing. Also the "holsters" on the hipbelt are also useless unless 007 wants to hide his ppk there. The hipbelt pockets are ok but this could all be reengineered better. Overall a great pack and highly recommended. Both of my hunting buddies (both carrying good packs bought on GF) were eying my Dash.
