The Viper S400 so far is all I had hoped it would be. Last year I started having real trouble making out deer through my peep on my bow once the sun went down. I wasn't able to pick out the small spot I wanted to aim for. So I made the decision to try a crossbow. I bow hunt 40 plus day a year. So I decided if I was going to get one I would make it a good one. The ACUslide cocking system and made in USA were two big things that lead me to TenPoint. The cocking system makes it easy to cock and uncock in the stand. It was super easy to setup and sight in. So far I've only shot out to fifty yard and it has been dead on. I wouldn't shoot past that distance at an animal anyway. The scope is better than I expected. It's clear and has plenty of power for the ranges I shoot. I purchased the center punch bolts as well. Do wish I had gotten the lighted nocks with them. It's so fast you can't see the bolt in flight. So far I've been very pleased with the complete package. I was able to take a great Coastal Georgia buck my first time out with it.
