I have run Badlands bino harness for years and loved them due to the upper and lower compartment setup for separate Bino and rangefinder storage but after upgrading to the new Leica Geovid Pros with a built in LRF, I needed to change out my chest harness to a bino and storage configuration.

I first tried a Mystery Ranch bino harness pack but disliked the external connection points of the bino leash straps on my first hunt with them, and then I found the Eberlestock Recon and loved the full bino coverage, internal bino leashes and ability to add and change storage pouches as needed.

The first thing I noticed about this harness is the fact that it seems to fit higher on my chest, where I like it positioned, without having to over tighten the harness system. I don't find myself constantly having to shift my binos back up after walking, and when crawling it stays tight against my body.

The only slight negatives are the rear pocket that is pressed against your chest is slightly hard to use to its potential due to the shoulder harness attaching about 1/4 of the way in from the edge on each side, as well as the leash attachment clip system from the leash to your binos is a little tough to release with gloved hands due to the use of tiny clips.

Otherwise, I'm very impressed with the harness and happy with my purchase overall!
