Hunting on the east coast is significantly different than hunting the western states. I never needed gaiters in Maryland because its mostly stand hunting. My outfitter suggested purchasing gaiters and I am GLAD I did. During my hunt in Montana, it went from 60 degrees one day to 12 inches of snow on the ground the next. It snowed every day I was in the mountains and by the end of the week, there was 18 to 24 inches on the ground. Not to mention the the numerious occasions that I had to cross streams. These gaiters, paried with my Rocky Bearclaw boots, kept my feet and legs warm and dry. You never know what you are going to face until your there. I am really glad I bought these gaiters or I would have been hating life. One more thing about King's Camo. There customer service is TOP NOTCH. The gaiters were part of an order that could not be filled due to supply issues. I contacted them and explained that I need these due to my hunt beginning the following week. They immediatly sent out those items that could be processed to ensure I had the necessary equipment. Thanks King's and Guidefitter for your help in outfitting my needs.
