SOG Tactical Tomahawk is a cut above the rest.

The Tomahawk was shipped faster than expected, which meant I was excited to head out into the wooded area near my house and start reviewing. I had received the tomahawk right around Halloween so I was able to test the sharpness of the tomahawk on a few of my left-over pumpkins. Needless to say, the tomahawk made short work of the gourds as it sliced and diced the "hack-o-lanterns". After the fun was had, I got down to business and chopped some firewood with ease, whittled down some sticks for kindling, and easily dispatched some shrubbery. I bought a nifty kydex sheath also, and it sits easily on a belt and isn't bothersome. It stows easily, and can be concealed just as well. 8/10 for the overall rating. It just works, which is why it gets the rating it does, although, the sheath that comes with it needs work as I didn't really care for the way it sheaths from the bottom. The blade was sharp and handle sturdy. Great tomahawk overall.
