These decoys are almost perfect with just a few problems I've experienced. First off the decoy moves great on the water, they are lightweight when packing in on foot, the rigging points are simple and easy to attach Texas rigs to, and the details are sharp and impressive out of the box. I love the ability to take the keel weights in and out based on what kind of hunt I'm planning on, be careful not to overtighten though, or the hardware will snap (few of weights are now held with zip ties).
The one chink in the armor is the paint though, after only half a season on both my pintails and green wing teal, I see paint rubbing off and some fading on the decoys. I am not super hard on my decoys, I use them 1-2 times a week during duck season, they are garage kept, and transported in a refuge runner bag. These are so close to perfect, if they were to have better paint adhesion, and they came in a couple more positions, I would have no reason to ever use another manufacturer's decoy.
If you are looking for something that is easy to pack in, these are the best thing I've found, and hopefully as Heyday continues to grow, the decoys will only get better!
Paint on the bill coming off. Half season in.
