Clarity is amazing! Very close second to Swarovski, but at half the cost, I'll take the slight reduction in performance. My local Cabela's has an eye chart 100 yards away from the Optics area. I compared these with an equivalent pair of the Swarovskis and I could see only one line lower on the chart with the Swaros. They are definitely higher quality than the non-uhd razors. I use these for hunting as well as prairie dog shooting. In low light conditions, it is like you turn on a light switch. The only thing I don't like compared to the non-uhd 10x50s I had before, is that the size and weight is getting up there. But, you get what you pay for and it shows. Other than that they are top notch. Part of me wishes I would have bought the 18 power ones instead for the long range extended glassing, then I could have bought the Razor HD 8x42 for closer range in the Whitetail woods. Or better yet the 10x42 Fury AB to eliminate having to have a rangefinder with me as well. The case they come with is definitely better than stuff from years past, but barely fit. The top of the case doesn't fit tightly down which allows for a lot of debris to get in.
As you can see, the back side of the opening does not fully close in around the binoculars. In a half mile of walking through the woods I got quite a bit of junk in the bottom of the case first time out. I would hate to not have the protective caps on and scratch the lenses due to that. For that reason, I will most likely be switching to an Eberlestock Recon back.
Front of the pack closes nicely.
