These broadheads appear to be well built. They fly true and come to you sharp. However, In my opinion there performance is unreliable. I have seen elk and Whitetail deer harvested, with great success. I have also seen this broadhead fail with good shot placement . Both blade broke off on the ribs of a bull elk. Lucky it still penetrated deep enough for a double lung hit. It was a very lucky recovery because it penetrated without blades. The Broadhead and animal were examined thoroughly. The blades did not hit any heavy bone and still failed. I have seen them fail on Whitetail with good shot placement as well. And these are just my experiences with this broadhead. I know other guides that have had bad experiences as well. I cannot in good conscience recommend the Hypodermic Trypan to anyone. This broadhead is just to unreliable.
