Better than a lead sled or sandbag

My guide in TX during a disabled SOF veteran hunt let me use his BOG. I brought my heavy Ruger Hawkeye Long-Range Target.
We tightened it into the deathgrip and I was shocked. It held it solid. I could get behind the rifle comfortably and settle in to my scope and even wiggle a little while my crosshairs barely moved. Within 5 minutes a 9-pt whitetail they have been trying to harvest walked out, he gave me the "Big Deer!" And "Take Him". I didn't even shoulder the gun when I shot. I should have split my face open when my own hot load went off and blew the Velcro windows out of the blind…! But it didn't move!
I bought one right there while waiting 30 min to ensure animal had expired.
When I got home 5 days later (fast shipping) my BOG was waiting for me. I set it up and brought out to my stand. The next day, a 12-pt I've been hunting for three years walked out and I dropped him with my .50 ML. Again neither the gun nor the tripod moved. Im probably going to buy another one for actual target shooting. I'll never use anything else!!!
