I took these midweight socks with me to guide a bison hunt in January on the Henry Mountains. Temps can go from very cold when chasing bison through the high snow to somewhat warm in the very low desert country mid day. They were perfect for those mid 30-40 temps paired with my standard Crispi 200 insinuate boots. Those low temps (-5 to 15 degrees) in the deep snow I should have went with the heavyweight sock and a more insulated boot. The best part was the comfort and the fact they never slipped or balled up on me. They definitely won me over!
