I purchased this knife for skinning mainly deer. I really like the way it fits my hand. The picture I included was meant to demonstrate how well it fits my hand.
I have great control to make precise cuts and not damage a hide when caping. I also like this blade for severing cartridge in joints as I do not like to saw bones. I prefer separating at the natural joints. It feels well made and built to last.
The only dislike is very minor and may be a plus for some. While the hard plastic sheath (I'm certain that there is a better name that Kershaw calls it other than hard plastic) covers and protects the blade well, the nylon belt loop feels flimsy. It is actually a 2-piece sheath with a retaining strap. The retaining strap is also somewhat flimsy although adequate and functional. I don't wear the knife on my belt so the sheath im works just fine for me.
Knife encased in it's sheath.
