Very comfortable tough pack

I have ran Kuiu packs and decided to try a Mystery Ranch. Upon first opening it I did notice the weight difference to my Kuiu packs. It was noticeably heavier but very well made and great quality. The pack has good organization. It packs down super small to use as day pack once you have packed all your gear in. After using the pack I love it. I initially really didn't like how heavy it was empty. However the pack is so comfortable and packs the weight so well that the heavier pack is worth it to me. It's very easy to adjust and get to fit right. After wearing the pack for awhile it did begin squeaking a bit. My Kuiu did this also and was very annoying. I found the squeak was from the plastic frame piece in the top of the shoulder frame. I removed it and put athletic tape on the piece and pack is dead silent now. The load sling feature is super easy and fast to use. It also has lots of cinch points to really secure the meat in place. I'm not saying this is the best pack out there. But for price it is super comfortable loaded and unloaded. Its super tough and well made.
