I have tried a number of hunting boots during my late season (Dec-Jan) youth/Veteran elk hunts in NW Colorado. Temps are normally 15° to -20°, so a good warm boot is important. For the 1st time in 5 years my feet never got cold. Even though these are 1000gr, I didn't overheat while snowshoeing 3 miles going after elk. I was surprised with the light weight and ease of break in. My 1st pair of Kenetrek boots and so glad I made the choice.
