Lightweight, Breathable, Waterproof, and just durable enough. (From the perspective of someone who spends more than average time hunting). Here in the dry and rocky climate of Arizona, boots tend to only last about a year if not less. If you maintain them properly, then you can extend that life slightly beyond a year. I was looking for a lighter boot that didn't wear out as quickly as the past few synthetic boots I had bought (they only lasted 7-8 months). This boot was attractive because although lightweight, it had a good combination of leather to make it more durable to cactus and rocks! It has been everything I wanted it to be for the last year. They still have a little life left in them which is impressive but there are a few potential failure points like the small orange cords they use for the lacing system may or may not hold up. They've been my go to for Coues Deer, Sheep hunting in the desert and higher country, Elk hunts and general use. I would buy again without hesitation. I put tons of miles on mine. They were fantastic. Will be hard to find a better do it all boot from archery to technical sheep country.
