I'm so glad Federal brought back the monolithic TSX line. The 30-06 cartridges run flawlessly through my Tikka T3 and group well enough to reach my rifle's promised sub-moa accuracy. Living in Idaho, the superior weight retention of a monolithic round means that the 165 grain bullets will work great on both mule deer and Elk. And while not important to some, I can walk away from a gut pile knowing that it's not going to make scavenging bald or golden eagles sick. My only caution is that the monolithic federal powershok groups just as well and costs nearly 50% less. Perhaps the difference is beyond 200 yards where the better BC of the TSX means better expansion at distance.
