Can this bucket be used for washing dishes?
Not really. The Kitchen Sink is wider and more stable, and better suited for this use.

Is this folding bucket worth the extra weight compared to the UltraSil version?
Perhaps. The Nylon version is free-standing, and has a grab handle to help scoop water. For paddlers and overlanders, it's definitely the better choice.

Is it easy to repair?
