In 2014 I had an opportunity to go on a once in a lifetime mountain lion hunt in British Columbia with my two sons, Graham and Charlie. This is Charlie with his record cat at 9 feet long and 156 pounds!

This is Graham's cat which was a large one for the area as well. I can't tell you how excited we all were in getting two nice cats.

We were able to tree both cats, but the rules are very strict for harvesting the correct animal so we had to watch it very closely to make sure we had a keeper. Dogs were used to tree the cats, and we had to tree both of them twice before we could take a shot at them.

This is a view from the top of the mountain in the East Kootenay region of British Columbial. This was taken two days after Christmas and the scenery was beautiful! And yes, there are sheep in those mountains!

This was a picture I took on the way back to the airport. I thought the sun shining down was particularly breathtaking.

We didn't make our flight out initially, we got caught up in the "Polar Vortex". The temp was 17 below zero! That's pretty cold for a boy from Texas. The Canadians just call it weather.

This is our group. The man on the far left is Vince Cocciolo of Total Outdoor Adventures. He is one amazing guide and a heck of a hockey player.

Another picture of Charlie and Graham with Graham's cat. I think they were having fun.

Yes, that is a ski resort and we did spend a couple of days on the slopes. It was beautiful and most of the skiers were from Europe.

This is the main lodge at the resort.

This is a view from the restaurant of the resort. We had one heckuva time!
