Had an awesome spring doing some hunting for myself. Had my youngest brother with on this trip and was fortunate to take this 20 year old dry sow. It was the first bear harvest my brother had been on. A perfect bear to introduce him to bear hunting.#brag #huntingtrophy #huntingtrip #checkin #hunting #nowhuntingÂ
With the arrival of March, spring bear season is working its way to us. Now is a perfect time to think back and enjoy some good memories with good friends made In pursuit of bears. It's a glorious time of year!
Being surrounded by family is one of the greatest things you can experience when in the outdoors. I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by my wife, best friend, dad, and youngest brother on this hunt. Very special sharing my last couple animals to complete my North American Super 10 with my family.
This was a great hunt to reflect on. It was in the last 10 days of the Montana season when I was able to take this pretty young buck. I belly crawled for 4 hours in a grass field to sneak close enough to this buck for a shot. Very rewarding filling a tag when time is almost up!
Beautiful Bison I was able to harvest in Montana. These animals are one of the coolest animals in North America. Everything about these animals is big, and a great opportunity to hunt amongst these critters.
November is a special time of year. I'm recent years I have found it just as fun helping others around me navigate the rut and harvest the best deer possible. A few days prior I helped my youngest brother harvest a great deer. And 5 days later I was able to be along with my dad when he harvested this pretty deer. November is a time of getting together, and harvesting ... Read more
Pretty great experience helping my 11 year old brother kill this great deer. Montana offers a mentorship program that allows kids 10 and 11 to harvest a deer with a licensed adult. He was fortunate enough this year to harvest a western Montana deer that will be tough to beat.
November is an awesome time of the year. Following the whitetail rut is an absolute thrill. Took this buck a few years back on the 13 of November. The rut was full steam ahead. Excited to see how it all plays out here in western Montana.
This deer here was pretty cool. Not gifted in the genetics department, but lived to the rip old age of 8.5 years old. Definitely one of my favorite animals to look back on. Big racks are impressive, but the stories an old mature animal can tell are priceless.
