This is an area where I really tried to be conscious of weight without purchasing the most expensive gear offered. The gear I purchased for this hunt worked great and served its purpose.
I wanted to make sure to be well prepared on supplements and nutrition. I knew if I wasn't eating or drinking proper supplements/nutrients that it would take a toll on my body during this hunt.
For this hunt I wanted to be well prepared for any and all weather conditions. I expected it to be warmer for most of the trip, but you just never know while being in the mountains. I have worn Sitka for many years and it has withstood everything I've put it through.
I didn't get to use many of the accessories for this particular hunt because it was so warm. I made sure to pack them with me, just in case the weather took a turn.
This is an area where I wanted to make sure I had high quality equipment. I've always shot Bowtech bows and am a very firm believer in the QAD Exodus Broadheads.
