I took my son to the Air Force recruiter today to finish his paperwork. He had enlisted in the Air Force Special Warfare program and had spent the last year swimming, running, and working out twice a day to get to where he is today. He signed a 6 year contract due to the length of his training. He flies to boot camp tomorrow morning. Couple birds this year so far, mine and my sister in laws I helped get for her. 2024 has been fun My son and I just returned home from a Merriam hunt in Wyoming and Montana. 2 birds apiece, 1 from each state. Great hunt, lots of birds. My first Osceola from San Mateo, FL with God's Country Outfitters. 5 star outfitter, very professional. Another Rio taken with Kerley's. Even the guide has to get a chance to call one of these Gobblers in for himself ! Great season even though it took awhile for them to get rolling. My fiance took this picture of this huge barn owl in our front yard. He was perched there for awhile, he was scouting out some baby rabbits under our shed. We named him "scout" lol.
