It seems more times then not hunts come down to the last second of the last day in the Last Frontier (Lots of lasts). It definitely tests hunters patience and mental discipline but it makes it that much sweeter when you get it done. This bear was a unique situation while hunting that I don't think I will ever forget. We stumbled upon him looking face to face at 10 feet through alders in a tunnel. There was such overwhelming sensation meeting a bear face to face and it created some excitement on the trail.
