Another Beautiful Tule Elk Bull harvested by Washington native, Lance, on his visit to the Six Point Ranch. After sending him trail cam photos and phoneskope videos of this bull, Lance hopped in the car and came down early for his hunt. After two days of glassing, we finally relocated this bull and called him into 100 yards for Lance to seal the deal with his rifle. Great hunt, great client, and great memories made here.
A Beautiful Pope & Young Tule Elk Bull harvested by Michigan's finest, Paul Kamps. After getting eyes on him, we hunted this bull for two days. The morning of the harvest, we were in a frenzy of elk containing 30 cows, this herd bull, and 5 satellite bulls jockeying for position. After passing on several satellites, I was able to challenge this bull with a Reel Game Calls bugle, and bring him into bow range for Paul. Paul made a perfect 77 yard shot, and the bull expired shortly after. Great Hunt!
Here is a perfect specimen of a Tule Elk Cow. Emma harvested this cow, her first elk, with my Bad to the Bone Muzzleloader. She shot her elk from 267 yards and the cow didn't take a step. Emma is off for boot camp as she is joining the USMC. This was a great way to send her off!
We harvested this bull in the burn of the "Ranch Fire", California's largest fire in history. The Fire had come through the ranch less than a month prior, but it didn't seem to effect the Tule Elk rut one bit. Great bull harvested by a great guy.
