On the third day of the Maine antlerless moose season, we finally connected. We saw this cow about 150 yards away. Dropped her with one shot from my Remington 1903-A3, .30-06 shooting a 150gr Remington soft point. We quartered her in the field. Estimated live weight was 721 pounds.

My first ever Maine Moose permit hunt. Went with my father in-law, Arvo. After a very slow start to the week we had some luck on our side and tagged this beast Thursday evening, 09/30, my son Miles 11th birthday!! This Bull weighed 735 lbs and had a 32" spread! Thanks to all who helped me fill a freezer!
