Partridge Hunts
Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina • The partridge or perdiz hunting is done as a supplement to duck and dove shooting in May, June, July and August. This fast flushing bird is hunted over fine pointing dogs on rolling hills in the beautiful countryside. The perdiz is similar to the quail, though this bird is larger and is found in singles and sometimes in pairs, instead of covies. Every year, before the season starts, a dog trainer comes from all the way from Texas to tune up our dogs. Dove Hunting
Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina • There is no season or limit for dove hunting in Argentina. As doves are considered a serious threat for crops, local farmers welcome hunters. Shooting is excellent all year round. Each day affords six to seven hours of good, steady shooting. An average of 3 cases of shells per day per shooter is the daily norm, Even Though shooting is superb all year round, records show mid-September through early April has produced the best shooting. During our spring doves concentrate in huge numbers when farmers begin harvesting the winter wheat, but there is plenty of food for the doves even during our winter months.

Duck Hunt
Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina • Argentina and Uruguay offer a buffet of duck species and some of the most beautiful ducks in all the world. There are several types of teal, including a slightly larger version of the cinnamon teal. Also, two types of pintails: the white cheeked or Bahama pintail that many find to be the most attractive of all the ducks, and the yellow billed pintail. In addition, you will also find wigeons, whistling ducks, shovelers, and the rosy-billed pochard-a big, dark duck that flies like a mallard and decoys like a canvasback. A typical duck hunting trip will include as few as five or as many as thirteen duck species. When you come duck hunting to one of our lodges, you will have the chance to experience different hunting scenarios: from big ponds (you will use a boat to get to your blind or walk easily to small potholes) to narrow channels that drain water out of big lagoons-making ducks run in a kind of flyway.
Wingshooting
Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina • The dove we pursue in Argentina is the eared dove, a gray speedster that is the cousin of North America's mourning dove-the bird which made "dove shooting" such an exciting pastime in the first place. We have millions of doves, and perfect habitat to assure that we'll have millions for a long time to come. The word "perdiz" is Spanish slang partridge. You will not shoot a "real" perdiz in Argentina or Uruguay. You'll shoot the most common specie of tinamou. We have two kinds of pigeons in Argentina and Uruguay, the pica zuro–which is a big, blue-gray wild pigeon about the same size as those that sit on statues in the town square. They are fast, hard to shoot, and many experienced shooters consider the pica zuro to be a sporting bird on par with a pheasant or a mallard duck.

Dove Hunt
Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina • The Hunt takes place in big roosts beside the river and in huge corn fields, between a landscape of soft Hills and calden Woods. The day starts at 7:00 am with an International style breakfast, then our staff and guides drive the hunters to the hunting fields. Depending the field chosen by our manager, you may drive from 20 up to 45 minutes. When the field chosen is more than 30 minutes drive we make a luxury camp with comfortable tents and we stay out in the field the hole day for a special treat with a traditional argentinean barbecue and regional wines out in the field! Bird boys will assist the hunters at all moment, supplying them with shells and cold beverages. After the two daily hunts we come back to the lodge to enjoy some drinks, friendly fires and delicious meals made out by our cheff.
