Maine, United States
• The Guide Service is based on a commitment to quality hunts and personalized service. The number of hunters per week is limited to insure you a great hunting experience. Hunting takes place in the "Down East" section of Washington Count Maine. The area is made up of blueberry barrens, spruce, pine, fir forest, (thick) hardwoods, lakes, rivers, streams and swamps. The season normally starts the last Monday in August through the third week in September. Hunting will be in the afternoon unless you are dog hunting.
Your bear hunt consists of five days hunting and six nights lodging. Cabins are made up of singles and doubles. Each has its own heater shower, toilet and sink. A full breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining hall. The dinner hall is conveniently located next to the cabins. (If you go hungry it's your own fault!) Arrive on Sunday afternoon and depart Saturday morning.
