Rainy River • Semi-guided hunt on miles of groomed trails over 20,000 acres of private land (with/without your own dogs). We have a diverse population of upland game birds including ruffed grouse, woodcock, sharptail grouse, and prairie chicken. Note from Paul Fuller: "Bird Dogs Afield was here in the fall of 2013 for a grouse hunt and film shooting. I have never seen so many grouse. Our 2nd day we had 49 ruffed grouse flushes and 6 sharptail flushes. In all about five hours of hunting. Our trip to Emo is one of our best broadcast television episodes this fall. Hunting parties will be responsible for transportation to and from hunting locations also their own meals. Owners will prepare one or two dinners for hunting party if they so desire. We recommend three to five days for a quality hunt.

Nebraska, United States • Beautifil birds and great location for a great hunting experience..

Montana, United States • We have excellent mule deer hunts for bucks that average 22" to 24" with an occasional 26" to 28". We have several large ranches leased for these hunts. We also have some bird hunting on these same ranches for sharptails, pheasants, prairie chickens, and blue grouse. If you would like to add another big game animal, pronghorn antelope may be added to this hunt.

Nebraska • Sharptail Grouse are found in the same habitat as the Prairie Chicken and are commonly shot on the same day. We refer to the two species combined as "Prairie Grouse". The limit is currently set at 3 prairie grouse per hunter per day and 12 in possession. Absolutely, positively, without doubt, question, or debate, America's most fabulous and historic gamebird species. Come and hunt this rare bird in its last remaining stronghold at Prairie King Wingshooting. The bird that everyone loves to hunt! At Prairie King we don't hunt ONLY the native species. Our CRP acres hold great numbers of pheasant. Hunt preserve and non-preserve acres for born wild, wild and released birds. Face it guys, the pheasant is not a very successful introduction here in America. In September the mourning doves come through our area. They stay as long as they can. They love it here!

Kansas, United States • Fast Flying. Fast Action. Lots of shells. This is Kansas dove hunting. We hunt doves the whole season at waterholes, feed fields, and pass shooting. I can think of nothing more thrilling than an early morning hunt with hundreds of dove flying by. Mourning doves have become the most popular game bird in the country. More shells are expended during the opening weekend of dove season then are expended during the entire upland game season. It is not only a challenging and exciting hunt but more importantly, it marks the opening of the hunting season. These birds offer the most challenging shooting experience you will find anywhere hands down. Greater prairie chickens currently occur in parts of 10 states, but by far the largest populations occur in Kansas and Nebraska. The traditional stronghold of greater prairie chickens in Kansas is the Flint Hills, a roughly 50-mile-wide band of tallgrass prairie that extends from the Oklahoma border northward nearly to the Nebraska line.

Dakota Ave • South Dakota boasts a wild bird population of over 11 million pheasants compared to the 250,000 chickens in our State. With all the stats this make for a really great intense hunt. Long shots with big flushes of 25 to 200 birds at one time, a Prairie Chicken Hunt with us is a real eye opener for sure. The past 10 years Missouri Valley Guide Service has made it a point to seek out the best chicken areas in Midwest. This is a bucket list trip, if you're an upland bird hunter this is must have on your belt and boy do we have the places with chickens.
