Healy • We hunt spring and fall Grizzly Bears, booked for 8 and 12 days in the field. - The advantages of a spring hunt are: weather, longer days and hide quality. - The fall hunt is also a great hunt and can be combined with either a Sheep, Moose, or Caribou. Our trophy moose hunts are conducted in the famous Wood River drainage. You'll be flown by bush plane to a remote airstrip where you'll be met by your guide and horses. Our Dall Sheep hunting is conducted deep in the heart of the Alaska Range and offers perhaps the most challenging and rewarding adventure in Alaska.

Turner's Alaskan Adventures
Trapline AdventuresFrom $7,500 to $9,500
Alaska • Join us at our home in the Wilderness of Alaska! We operate two traplines. One is located in the Nowitna River area, where we also offer Fall moose/grizzly hunts. Our traplines are truly remote. In winter, we get to and from our traplines by airplane, and travel along our 250 miles of hand cut trails and along frozen rivers using both dog teams and snowmachines. We trap primarily Wolf, Wolverine, Lynx, Fox, Marten, and Beaver. Depending on your interest, you may wish to come in the early Winter to help us set out our traps, open up 'line cabins, and set up tent camps along our many trails. Learn the processes of skinning, stretching, and drying quality furs, the source of our trapline income. Hop on the runners of one of our homemade dog sleds behind a team of dogs. You may also want to come in the Spring, when we begin to snap our marten and lynx traps for the season, and focus more of our energy on Wolf, Wolverine, and Beaver, whose seasons continue into April.

Kodiak Adventures Lodge
Duck HuntsFrom $2,450 to $3,450
Alaska, United States • Kodiak Island, Alaska is truly a sportsmans paradise. For the traveling hunter the destination "Kodiak, Alaska" conjures up big bears and fantastic sea duck hunting. For waterfowl hunters, sea duck hunting on Kodiak Island, Alaska is one of the top destinations to experience waterfowl hunting at its finest. There is a large variety of species including: Black, White Wing, and Surf Scoters, Harlequin, Old Squaw, Common and Barrow's Goldeneye, Red Breasted and Common Merganser, Bufflehead, Bluebill, Mallards and many other puddle ducks early in the season. Some of the puddle ducks also winter here in Kodiak and can be hunted until the end of the season. Alaska's sea ducks migrate to here, not though here. Kodiak Island is the final wintering place for many of them and Kiliuda Bay is ice free all winter. The season starts in October and runs through late January. If you are looking for fully plumed birds to mount, I suggest hunting in mid Nov. - January.
Deer HuntsFrom $2,000 to $3,100
Alaska, United States • If you are wondering where Blacktail deer are found in Alaska, Kodiak Island has a good population of blacktail deer. Kodiak's deer are much larger then SE Alaska, reaching weights of 175 to 200 pounds, producing some excellent trophies. A big part of the appeal of Kiliuda Bay is the open country and it's visibility. Hiking up the hillsides while spending time glassing and then stalking is the preferred way for sitka blacktail deer hunting. For the non-hiker it is best to book a later hunt and you can stay down low and quietly wait for the deer to come to you. Kodiak Adventures Lodge sits at the head of Kiliuda Bay on the SE side of Kodiak Island, Alaska. Access to our remote location is by float plane. We rarely see other hunters as there are no other lodges or people for 26 miles by boat. If you would like to experience a truly remote lodge and Alaskan hunt, this is the place!
Crystal River Guide Service
Big Game HuntFrom $4,500 to $12,000
Lakewood Loop • Hunted over bait during the prime time of late May to mid June. The average mature Interior black bear is better than 5 feet and our goal is 6 foot and better. Hunt from our privately owned cabin in a remote fly in only area where you will not be running into other hunters. Bunkhouse, sauna, great meals. We have bait stations with tree stands that are within bow range of the baits. Best thing about hunting over bait is the ability to be selective. The last four years we have had a 100% success rate. Quietly floating down a wild and scenic river as you listen to your guide softly imitating a lonely cow moose calling for the bull moose of your dreams. To hear the crash of antlers against brush in return warms the blood and quickens the heart! You look through the golden leaves of autumn birch for a glimpse of an animal that stands six feet at the shoulder and supports antlers that can spread over sixty inches and sometimes over seventy; fifty is the norm.
