We also offer lower priced bull hunts on our ranches with smaller bulls. Prices vary depending upon the hunt, ranch and weapon choice. We offer 5-day guided muzzleloader or rifle hunts for Trophy Class Bucks or 6-day guided archery hunts. Our hunt dates run from late August to early November. We also offer management buck hunts. We offer a limited number of guaranteed Shiras Moose tags each year. If you would like a chance at one of these impressive animals, give us a call. We offer 5-day guided hunts between September 1 and October 31 with any weapon of your choice.

Utah • Are predators taking our trophy animals? More trophy opportunities come when more animals are available. We offer guided coyote and mountain lion hunts. There are no limits to the number of coyotes you can harvest, and you can call them in close like a bull elk or spot and stalk like a big buck. Come out with us late fall or winter and help us control the predators. Also, we offer 3-day guided or unguided cow elk hunts. These are great hunts to put meat on your table. Our hunt dates run October 1 to January 31 of each year.

Lake George • Lone Star Outfitters offers over 50 years experience in hunting these big game animals and has focused on a prime area in southern Colorado noted for the high quality genetics and prime habitat. Owner, Walt Isenhour, has over 30 years experience pursuing trophy bull elk and has identified the area just north of the Vermejo Park and Hill Ranch as a key area for harvesting bulls of the highest quality. Our hunters have taken 46 bulls scoring over 320 since 2004 with the largest bull, a massive 7 x 7 scoring 366, topping the list. This area is truly blessed with one of the most productive flocks of Merriam's turkey in southern Colorado. It is quite common to see 50 to 100 turkeys per day while hunting, with many Toms in groups of 5 to 10. These birds are not call shy, due to the lack of hunting pressure on private lands, and make an exciting hunt. Colorado offers both spring and fall turkey seasons and we offer hunts in both seasons.

Florida • This 2600 acre private cattle ranch is loaded with mature birds. The ranch lies in Levy County and is recognized by NWTF as having pure Osceola genetics. It is quite common to see 50 to 100 turkeys per day while hunting, with many Toms in groups of 5 to 10. These birds are not call shy, due to the lack of hunting pressure on the private ranch. The Spring Turkey Season opens March 15th and we offer 9 hunts running through April 15th. Make this early season hunt your first stop on your quest for the Grand Slam. We have experienced near 100% success on this ranch for the last 5 years. All our turkey hunts are for 2 days, usually filling tags on the first day. The hunter is responsible for their own meals and lodging in nearby Chiefland, Florida. We provide all transportation while hunting on the ranch. Additional hunting days can be provided for $500.00 per day should the birds not cooperate.

Waterfowl Hunts

Texas, United States • Being at the juncture of the East and West branches of the Central Flyway, HFF never has a poor waterfowl hunting season ... some are simply more spectacular than others. With over a hundred miles of coastline along the Laguna Madre, three fresh water waterways, innumerable ponds, tanks and flooded areas, HFF is a water fowlers paradise. Waterfowl hunting is a Texas tradition that is hard to justify to someone who has never experienced it. Waterfowl hunting is about much more than just shooting unsuspecting ducks or geese in the worst of elements. Its about being there, immersing yourself in the moment, absorbing the sights, sounds, tastes, smells, and feelings of the great outdoors, enjoying fellowship with close friends and family, making memories for another days telling. Whether it's from a traditional duck blind with decoys, calls and a good Lab, or jump shooting the tanks and ponds with a buddy, it is not uncommon to take several different species of waterfowl in the same outing.

Deer, Turkey Hunts

Texas, United States • The 50,000 acres of Horn, Fin and Feather's El Sauz ranch lease makes for a truly unique coastal location with a considerable diversity of hunting and fishing opportunities available on a year round basis. This large acreage allows for safari style hunting with spot and stalk efforts paying off especially well on Nilgai and the other game. When things come together a typical in season day can include an early morning duck hunt, followed by a quick snipe hunt along the edge of a pond. On the way back to the Lodge for mid-morning breakfast, quail can be an easy opportunity. After lunch, deer or Nilgai can be pursued followed up with a late afternoon dove hunt. A morning fishing trip can be followed with an afternoon Nilgai hunt. Sometimes it gets to be too many opportunities and options, but that is why another visit is needed and desired!
