A varied terrain around the lodge provides a habitat popular with moose, bear, and upland birds. We maintain a wide range of baited sites, and have many stands and blinds from which to hunt. All hunting packages include accommodations in one of our comfortable, full log cabins, hearty home cooked meals, transportation, and an experienced guide. • Woodcock hunting season starts around September 15th and Grouse starts October 1st. We have very good covers for upland birds.
Bring your dog, or let our guide supply you with a dog. Pheasant hunting is also available. Make the most of the Mimamichi and combine this hunt with some salmon fishing!

• Hunted over bait during the prime time of late May to mid June. The average mature Interior black bear is better than 5 feet and our goal is 6 foot and better. Hunt from our privately owned cabin in a remote fly in only area where you will not be running into other hunters. Bunkhouse, sauna, great meals. We have bait stations with tree stands that are within bow range of the baits. Best thing about hunting over bait is the ability to be selective. The last four years we have had a 100% success rate.
Quietly floating down a wild and scenic river as you listen to your guide softly imitating a lonely cow moose calling for the bull moose of your dreams. To hear the crash of antlers against brush in return warms the blood and quickens the heart! You look through the golden leaves of autumn birch for a glimpse of an animal that stands six feet at the shoulder and supports antlers that can spread over sixty inches and sometimes over seventy; fifty is the norm.

• You get a ten day hunt for the price of the normal seven day hunt. World class Arctic Grayling fishing, a chance at wolf, black bear, grizzly, wolverine are an anticipated bonus when booking a mixed bag hunt. Dall Sheep and Caribou can be seen high up on the mountains. At night after a great meal and warm fire, you slip into a nice warm sleeping bag situated on a comfortable cot with insulated pad; you easily fall asleep, dreaming of doing it all again the next day.
The hunting season in this unit starts Sept. 5th and ends the 15th. What are you waiting for?

• Fully guided elk hunts in the back country of Idaho by horseback. We have 500 private acres that are surrounded by natioanl forest and is only accessible by horse back or foot. This makes this area with very little hunting pressure. We harvest only 5×5 bulls or better out of this camp. Guide ratio is 1 guide to 2 hunters. Gourmet meals in camp with fresh pies made daily right out of the 1890′s wood cook stove. Our actual harvest on branch antlered bull is over 50% at the Gilmore Ranch. Which is better than double the average success. Expecting 50% harvest is realistic. Every year bulls between 350 and 400 B&C are harvested or seen in the area.

• Drop Camp Archery or Rifle season. This is a combination hunt for elk, deer, bear, and wolf. $2,000 per hunter for camp only. $2,300 per hunter for drop camp with wrangler and horses. $2,800 per hunter for drop camp with wrangler and horses, cook and food. (Need 4 hunters minimum for drop camp)
