Due to limited allowable access from the Blackfeet Nation to the east this makes for an epic hunting area. It is our intent to get you a shot opportunity on a trophy-class animal. Our big game animals thrive in the high rugged mountain country, foothills, valleys, and peaks of the Badger Two Medicine Forest south of Glacier National Park and borders the renowned Bob Marshall Wilderness. Our back country camp at Lonesome Creek include meals and wood heated wall tents with cots and sleeping bags. One guide is provided for every 2 hunters. Now is the time to take that trophy!

• We offer big game hunting for Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope and Black Bear. Lodge and cabins are used for your living quarters. We provide home style meals in a friendly atmosphere to add to your hunting experience.
Our hunting area in the Bridger Mountains consists of 28,000 +/- acres of private land and 6,400 acres of adjoining public land. We hunt on foot, four wheel drive or horseback at an elevation of 5,000 to 7,000 feet.
We have a resident elk population of around 1200 head which stay in the area year around. Our Mule Deer are managed for bigger bucks. Antelope inhabit the surrounding plains. Mountain lion, Black Bear, bobcats and coyotes also inhabit the area.

• Come with us on a wilderness spot and stalk black bear hunt in June. Your hunt will start at the trailhead on day 1 where we will meet up, pack your gear, and adjust your stirrups for the 6 mile horseback ride into base camp. Upon arrival we will unload your gear and get you settled into your 14x16 canvas wall tent. After getting a bite to eat we will head out for an evening of glassing as this will be the primary way to find a bear. After the evening hunt we will return to camp for a home cooked meal prepared by our cook. We will leave most mornings on horseback and spend the majority of our time glassing open parks and burnt timber. Bears have been spotted while fishing in the creek just below camp, so throw in your rod if you desire and take advantage of the exceptional fishing. Each morning you will be fed a hot, homemade breakfast and sent with a sack lunch to be eaten in the field. Day 7 we will eat breakfast and then take off for the trailhead and have you back around noon.

• This is a wilderness back country pack in hunt. We utilize wall tents in our base camp that is 6 miles from the trailhead. We will be riding horses most of the days unless hunting close to camp. We hunt from an elevation of 4200 feet by small rivers to up over 8000 feet on the Continental Divide. We have some of the best elk and deer habitat in the wilderness, from deep timber, to high country parks, to above the timberline on the Divide, all accessed by horseback. In our operation I like taking in small numbers, from four or six hunters per hunt. We will hunt the animal of your choice. We will not pressure you to shoot the first thing you see, it is your choice, and we don't pack you out early if you score early in the hunt.

General season rifle elk hunts are conducted from our drive to wall tent camp. Our hunting is all "Fair Chase" and as we all know there are no guarantees. The private land ranches we hunt on are accessed by John Deere Gator / side-by-side, horseback, or 4×4's.

We own exclusive hunting rights on these ranches, for big game animals including: ARCHERY BULL ELK HUNTING during the rut, BULL ELK with a rifle. • Looking to complete your SLAM. We have BIG PURE WHITE TIPPED Merriam gobblers! NO HYBRIDS! We are hunting the Merriam's in lots of wide-open terrain allowing hunters to use both roosting as a means of locating toms and glassing for toms after they have left the roost. Spring turkey hunters are housed in a ranch style house set-up with all the conveniences including fully furnished house, single beds, separate rooms for couples or families, shower and toilet facilities, and home-cooked meals. Anyone flying will use Billings, Montana. Hunters can be picked up from airport for an additional fee. Turkey tags can be purchased either online or over-the-counter. A conservation license and base-hunting license are prerequisites! The total cost for a turkey license is $140.00.

• We do more deer hunts than any other animal and we do very well with them. We are almost 100% for success on deer with a gun or bow. We offer whitetail as well as mule deer for both rifle and archery.
We hunt elk during the rut, with the bugle, spot and stalk, decoys and stands. There are some great genetics in our elk here. Every year a couple of four hundred-plus bulls come out of these hills. Maybe that's why they call our area the Bull Mountains.
If you've never been west before, an antelope hunt is a great place to start. It is a reasonably priced three-day hunt, rifle or bow. For our bow hunting, we use blinds, waterholes and decoys and have taken many Pope and Young bucks.
There has been quite an interest in buffalo hunts for the past few years. We have a local ranch where the buffalo are as free-range as they can get on a ranch. You will be hunting in 10,000 to 15,000 acre pastures.

• There are plenty of these critters running around and many of our hunters have taken a coyote while out in the field.
Prairie Dog towns are abundant if you want to visit one for some spirited target practice. We also offer exclusive Prairie Dog hunts from June until September, for those serious barrel burners.

• If you want to have a lot of fun, see a lot of game and get plenty of shooting, try one of our Special Antelope Hunts in Eastern Montana. These hunts usually run 100% success. I hunt on private land and all access fees, food, and transportation during the hunt are furnished. The hunts are spot and stalk using 4-wheelers for transportation along with some walking. Fourteen to 15 inch bucks are quite common and occasionally hunters will take 16 inch or better bucks. Archery Antelope tags are NOT on a drawing!!!!
These hunts are 3 full days of hunting. The antelope are plentiful and so are the Mule Deer, if you would like a combination hunt. You only provide your personal gear, rifle, license, lodging and transportation to the ranch, and back home. We take care of the rest, including the trespass fee.
We limit the hunts to a maximum of 4 hunters per hunt. We hunt on private ranches with over 250,000 acres of prime Antelope/Deer habitat.

• This is a 5 day Spot and Stalk Hunt for Spring Black Bear, I have maintained a 50% Black Bear harvest. I would be 100%, But I Do Not shoot Small bears! I consider a 6' black bear and bigger a shooter, a 5'7" color phase bear and bigger a shooter. This area has the highest Black Bear population in Montana, with 1.4 bears per Sq. mile, with a regional harvest of 50% on color phase bears. Though the Spring Black bear season opens on April 15th I do not offer hunts till May 1st do to the possibility of the lack of green up earlier in the season. Clients usually see from 11 to 16 bears on this 5 day hunt.

• MONTANA DEER & ELK COMBO-This hunt takes place on the Blacktail Ranch just outside of Wolf Creek, MT. The Blacktail Ranch is an 8,000-acre family-owned ranch located where the mountains meet the prairie, at the base of the East Front of the Continental Divide. We also have other adjoining ranches that we hunt.
We have excellent mule deer hunts for bucks that average 22" to 24" with an occasional 26" to 28". We have several large ranches leased for these hunts. We also have some bird hunting on these same ranches for sharptails, pheasants, prairie chickens, and blue grouse.
Antelope combination with Elk and Deer in archery season or in the first two weeks of rifle season. We hunt on several different ranches for Antelope.
We have leased several great ranches for our whitetail hunters. These ranches have different accommodations. Anything from an old ranch house where the hunters cook for themselves to a modern lodge style with a cook.
