North Carolina, United States • Our hunts start early in the morning after breakfast which is provided at the lodge. In the morning our plan is to have each hunter in their stand an hour before shooting time. We generally pick up hunters between 9 and 11 depending on the preference of the hunter. For evening hunts we plan on having the hunter in their stand 3 hours before dusk. We pick up the hunters a few minutes after shooting time has expired. As part of our commitment to giving each hunter a personalized hunting experience we will walk or drive each hunter to their stand and assist them with getting into and out of their stand. The location of some of our stands is extremely remote requiring the use of an ATV. We provide this service for the hunter. We gladly accommodate family hunts. Hunting parties made up of a husband and wife, as well as father and son or father and daughter are all welcome. For the father hunting with a youngster we have many two man stands that can easily accommodate 2 hunters.
Littleton • The best ... simply put, that's a great way to describe whitetail deer hunting in Halifax County, North Carolina! Halifax County has had the state's highest deer harvests for several years. Roanoke Tar Guide Service's 2,000 plus acres of hunting lands support great numbers of deer and an incredible potential to harvest a trophy buck. North Carolina has one of the longest seasons and the most liberal deer harvests in the country. Our bow and arrow season begins in early September and offers the hunter an excellent chance to harvest a buck in velvet. Black powder season opens in early October and lasts for two weeks. Rifle season starts in mid-October and runs until January 1.
North Carolina • Our deer hunts start early in the morning after coffee and breakfast(doughnuts, bagel, cereal, microwave biscuits), about one hour before sunrise. Our guest will be dropped off close to the stand and will walk to ensure not to disturb any trophy deer nearby. As a part of our commitment to giving each hunter a personalized hunting experience, we can walk or drive hunters directly to their stand and assist them in and out quietly and safely if they choose us too. While you are here during your deer hunt, we allow a bear to be taken FREE with proper tags and license.. Bear tipically move better in the afternoon, so most all bear hunting is done during the afternoon hunt over a peanut or corn field!!! Bear hunting now days is all about being in the right spot at the right time! Semi-Guided hunters will be dropped off fairly close to where he or she should here plenty of gobblers on the roost… Then its up to the hunter to make it happen!
North Carolina • Here at Cutawhiskie Creek when it comes to Waterfowling, we do it all no matter what the forecast is..We hunt from Currituck to Pamlico Point and every River in between. We have nice duck Blinds in various locations, we Brush Blind hunt on edges of marsh for added concealment, and we also have recently aquired a duck impoundment. Migratory birds seem to flare at Box Blinds more late in the season so we hunt the marsh or the impound. What North Carolina really has to offer is the variety of ducks that migrate heavily through the east coast of the state.. Ranging from Teal, Widgeon, Pintail, Mallard, Woodies, and all the species of divers. The scenery where we hunt isnt hard to take either. Whether it be the comrodery in the marsh when the birds arent flying or when im calling and maneuvering birds into shooting range, Cutawhiskie Creek Outfitters is the guide service for you!!!

Newport • You arrive to our ramp of choice. Meeting and talking with myself first thing in the morning. We go over the layout and how to position yourself for the best shots. We get out to the spot we are hunting. Get the layout boat set and anchored, then put out the spread. Once all set in I began cooking breakfast and engaging in conversations. After breakfast it's time to get set. Some of the best in your face action hunting for both Sea Ducks and Divers.
