• New Mexico is known for trophy elk. The area I hunt constantly produces trophy bulls.
We hunt mule deer on private ranches. We have over 15,000 acres leased in Southeast, NM. It has taken me many years to put together the quality private land hunts I now offer.
We hunt the Sacramento Mountains for Merriam turkey. We have spring and fall hunts with a large number of birds. Guided and unguided hunts available.
We have many color phases of bear in the area I hunt. Hunting methods include spot and stalk, calling, and sitting water holes and feeding areas.

We hunt from tent camps set in the area we will be hunting. On our private land deer hunts we stay in a heated camp house. I have a great cook, and we have hearty home cooked meals and desserts. I am proud of the number of hunters who come back every year and hunt with us.

• Rolling Oaks Ranch is comprised of both open grass fields and heavy Oak groves. The terrain of the property is perfectly suited for Blackbuck. There are also 3 ponds and a 28 acre lake for the antelope to water at. There are traditional box blinds located throughout the property to hunt comfortably from. There are also ground blinds and tree stands set up for bow hunting. Depending on the time of year and the weather conditions, spot and stalk hunts are also available.

• The ranch is located just 5 miles away from Lake Fork, pulling all types of waterfowl species to the property. Simpkins Creek runs into the north side of the lake, creating flooded timber and excellent hunting conditions. There are two duck blinds strategically located on the lake, ideal for any wind direction. Layout blinds can also be used to hunt divers in the deeper end of the lake. Throughout the season you can have the opportunity to hunt the following species of waterfowl: Green & Blue-Winged Teal, Mallard, Pintail, Widgeon, Gadwall, Wood Ducks, Shovelor, Bufflehead, Ringnecks, Bluebill, Redheads, Canvas Backs and Canadian Geese.

All hunt prices include camp (Wall tent or trailer), food, (alcohol NOT included) guide and game retrieval from field to game processing. Hunters are responsible for personal items unless otherwise agreed upon. A 50% deposit is required to book and secure hunt, with reminder due before the start of hunt. Additional days might be able to be added for a per day cost to be agreed upon by both parties prior to the hunt. Non hunting guests must be approved prior to the hunt starting and are subject to a per day charge.

• We take a limited number of hunters on conservatively managed ranches each year with great success, we have 100,000 + / - acres of prime coues deer habitat under our control, and our management philosophy shows the quality of bucks harvested from our ranches each year. We have included pictures from almost every deer we have harvested in the past 7 years, there have been a few that no pictures were taken of, but we have 95% of them posted, to show you the quality of deer from top to bottom. We truly believe each person has a good chance at a 100" plus deer on our ranches. We have put the class of each deer with the picture, and the deer down to the 1/8" official score sheets.
All of our Coues hunts are mininum of 6 full days of hunting, with a day of travel on each end. From "do it yourself" hunts to fully outfitted hunts, we will personally get you through all necessary stops and checks in Sonora, and will have the ranches ready for your hunt.
